Say "hi" to our friends on Facebook

What happened to the Country Ramble last year? Hurricane Irene happened, forcing the cancellation of the race. Many of our participants donated their entry fees. THANK YOU!

We love our runners and walkers.

The 5K Course:

A great combination of grassy fields, quiet neighborhood roads and groomed woodland trails with a fast finish on the track.  The net downhill course starts with a dash across the upper athletic fields.  Transition onto asphalt around Monroe-Woodbury’s middle and high schools, followed by a long downhill on Dunderburg Rd.  Make a hairpin right and wind up a gradual hill through Buena Vista, followed by a ramble around the lower athletic fields.  Enter the woods for a rolling uphill-downhill, emerge into the open and set your sights on the track for the 200 yard kick to the finish.

great course

Walkers leave the course by the tennis courts and head straight to the track.
