Say "hi" to our friends on Facebook

What happened to the Country Ramble last year? Hurricane Irene happened, forcing the cancellation of the race. Many of our participants donated their entry fees. THANK YOU!

We love our runners and walkers.

For an enjoyable easy way to give back to our community, attend the next Woodbury Lions Club meeting, 2nd Tuesday, 7:30 pm at the Senior Center in Highland Mills. We'd like to meet you.

The Woodbury Lions Club

When you come to the Country Ramble, you’ll meet a lot of Woodbury Lions Club members.  They’ll accept your registration, give you a number, point you in the right direction and even feed you afterwards.  That up front visibility is minor compared to their behind the scenes activities, starting with lining up our terrific sponsors.

The club meets every 2nd Tuesday at the Senior Center in Highland Mills starting at 7:00 pm. Stop by. The Lions also meet for dinner every 4th Tuesday. For more information, please call 845-928-6354 (Doug).

hot dags taste great on a Sunday morning

Healthy food, high in anti-oxidants, waits at the finish to replenish your carbs.  (The hot dogs are around the corner.)

Join us for our volunteer breakfast

Ramble volunteers dine in style at the pre-race Volunteer Breakfast hosted by the Woodbury Lions.

The Lions hosted their annual “Nobody in Woodbury Goes Hungry” breakfast and became the Charter Sponsor for Woodbury Cub Pack 149.  Donations have been made to our local libraries, the Highland Mills food pantry, the ALS Foundation and summer camp for the hearing impaired.  The Lions grant scholarships to graduating Seniors at M-W High School, sponsor programs for students at BOCES and help local kids attend Camp Rez.  Over 1.000 pairs of used glasses have been collected, so their lenses can be recycled into new glasses for the needy.  Woodbury Lions have made possible eye exams and glasses for elementary school children, as well as hearing aids for children and seniors.
